These terms apply to your use of this website and to service provided by Jersey City Plumbing Heating & Cooling. Please read them before requesting work. If you do not agree with them, do not use this site.

Use of This Website

The content on this site is provided for general information about our plumbing, heating and air conditioning services. It is not a diagnosis of your system and should not be relied on as instructions for repairing gas, electrical or pressurized equipment yourself. Always call a licensed professional.

Estimates and Pricing

Any price discussed by phone before a technician sees the equipment is an approximation. A firm price is given after the on-site diagnosis and before work begins. Conditions discovered once a wall, unit or line is opened may change the scope, and any change will be reviewed with you before we continue.

Scheduling and Emergency Service

Appointment windows are arranged in good faith. Emergency calls, weather events and job conditions can shift a schedule, and we will contact you if your window changes. Emergency service is available at all hours and may be billed at different rates than standard scheduled work.

Access to the Property

You are responsible for providing safe access to the equipment, including clear paths to basements, mechanical rooms, roofs and exterior units, and for informing us of known hazards. We may reschedule work if the area is unsafe or inaccessible.

Payment

Payment is due on completion unless other arrangements have been agreed in writing. Parts, equipment and installed materials remain our property until paid for in full.

Warranty

Workmanship and installed equipment are covered by the warranty terms stated on your invoice or by the manufacturer of the equipment. Warranties do not cover damage from misuse, neglect, freezing, flooding, power problems, or work performed on the system by others.

Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim relating to the work is limited to the amount paid for that work. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses such as lost income or damage caused by pre-existing conditions in the building.
